Dear Customers, Users, Departments, and Administrators of Foley-Net,
Foley‑Net Technologies is issuing this public statement to provide clear, transparent information regarding several operational and service‑level adjustments we are implementing in response to current global and economic conditions. As inflation continues to affect energy consumption, hardware procurement, and essential infrastructure components, we are taking proactive steps to ensure the long‑term stability, reliability, and sustainability of our services.
These decisions are not made lightly. They reflect our commitment to maintaining a strong, resilient network environment while adapting responsibly to rising operational costs and broader economic uncertainty.
Over the past year, the cost of delivering high‑quality network and hosting services has increased significantly. Several global and domestic factors are contributing to this shift:
Inflated electrical costs, driven by regional energy price increases
Higher hardware and component prices, including the ongoing worldwide RAM shortage
Increased manufacturing and logistics costs due to global instability
United States tariffs, which have raised the cost of importing essential technology components
International conflicts, including the War in Iran and other global tensions, have disrupted supply chains and increased the cost of raw materials and electronics
These rising costs directly affect the infrastructure required to operate Foley‑Net’s services. To remain sustainable and continue providing reliable service, we must adjust our operational model accordingly.
To prepare for potential economic tightening and to preserve long‑term operational stability, Foley‑Net is implementing a recessionary contraction. This involves a strategic reduction of non‑essential activities and a prioritization of mission‑critical systems.
As part of this contraction, Foley‑Net will:
Slow or pause non‑essential internal initiatives
Delay lower‑priority infrastructure upgrades and expansion projects
Reduce discretionary spending across departments
Focus resources on core network reliability, security, and service continuity
These measures ensure that our essential services remain strong, stable, and fully supported even as external conditions fluctuate.
Due to the significant rise in electrical and hardware costs, Foley‑Net will be temporarily discontinuing free non‑essential services. These services, while valuable to many users, require substantial power, hardware capacity, and maintenance resources that have become increasingly expensive to sustain at no cost.
Customers currently using free, non‑essential Foley‑Net services will need to upgrade to one of our paid service plans to continue receiving access. Paid plans allow us to cover the increased operational costs associated with hosting, power consumption, hardware wear, and ongoing support.
We will be contacting affected users directly with:
A list of services impacted
Available upgrade options
Transition timelines
Support resources to assist with migration
Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible while ensuring that all users continue to receive reliable and well‑supported service.
In addition to service changes, Foley‑Net will be implementing temporary cost‑push price adjustments across certain paid offerings. These adjustments reflect the increased cost of delivering and maintaining our infrastructure, including:
Hardware procurement and replacement
Energy consumption and cooling
Vendor and supplier pricing
Maintenance and operational overhead
They are not designed to capitalize on industry conditions or generate additional profit. Their sole purpose is to ensure that Foley‑Net Technologies does not go into debt or compromise service quality during a period of global instability.
Once the following conditions improve, all inflated prices will be deflated back to normal levels:
Reduction of global conflicts, including the War in Iran
Stabilization of international supply chains
Resolution of the worldwide RAM shortage
Easing of U.S. tariffs and import pressures
Normalization of energy and manufacturing costs
As soon as these pressures subside and it becomes safe for Foley‑Net to operate under standard cost structures, pricing will return to normal.
Despite these economic adjustments, Foley‑Net’s core services remain fully operational and unaffected. Customers can expect:
Continued reliability across all mission‑critical systems
Stable performance of network, hosting, and identity services
Clear communication regarding any changes that affect service delivery
Ongoing investment in security, uptime, and infrastructure resilience
Our focus remains on delivering dependable, high‑quality service without interruption.
Foley‑Net has always operated with a commitment to resilience, transparency, and responsible stewardship of our infrastructure. These adjustments reflect those values. By acting proactively, we are ensuring that Foley‑Net remains strong, sustainable, and capable of supporting our customers through any economic challenges that may arise.
We will continue to monitor economic conditions, supply‑chain trends, and operational costs closely. As always, we will communicate openly with our customers and stakeholders as circumstances evolve.
Thank you for your understanding, trust, and continued partnership as we navigate this period with care and responsibility.

In June of 2023, there was a need for a new computer management infrastructure and internet infrastructure onsite. Foley-Net was established in September of 2023. The mission we have been trying to achieve for the past year has been successful. We are trying to streamline resident & guest access to onsite computers, internet, printers, and storage. Here are some of the goals established in June of 2023.
Make computers and computerized systems easy to use.
The ability to pick up a computer you may never have touched and being able to quickly log in with all your data right there, ready for you to use it.
The ability for guest who is staying at the Foley House can log in to the network system, have all their permissions and restrictions loaded, and to be able to use the computer systems, printing systems, storage systems, and internet systems without having to go through tedious steps to get access to these things.
Some of the more recent goals have been to have cutting-edge computer security and encryption.
At Foley-Net, we continuously strive to innovate and ensure that our services are not just the best, but also the most secure, reliable, and efficient.
We are thrilled to announce the rapid expansion of our network, extending our reach and bringing cutting-edge connectivity to new horizons. Foley-Net is proud to announce that we have rolled out our first Windows 11 device on August 23, 2024. We will be upgrading all devices so be patient when waiting for your computer to be upgraded.
If your computer has Windows 11 Professional and you experience problems with it, please inform our IT Department as soon as possible. This is a new operating system, and we do not know all the bugs that exist in it. The sooner you report a bug the faster it gets resolved.
After many months of consideration, we have chosen a theme for what our new inventory system will look like (which can be seen in the image on the right). We have selected this theme because of its ease of use for our users. At Foley-Net we strive for ease of use for our users. So, we have specially designed our new inventory system for our users. Our system may look older, but this is because the architecture is specialized to run on older systems as efficiently as possible. We are still working on this inventory system, and we plan to release it in January 2025.
Foley-Net is proud to say that we have partnered with LF Enterprises Gaming to host LF Enterprises Gaming Servers. In the coming months, we will start to transition from ScalaCube which LF Enterprises Gaming Servers were fully hosted on, to our new server. We will run things like their Minecraft Servers (Ex: Logan SMP, The Server, and more). We will also run things like a Steam Cache Server and any other games that LF Enterprises Gaming would like to run. This server is supposed to be somewhat usable by the 2024 holiday season and will be fully usable by February 2025. If there are any questions about this server email administrator@foley-net.com.
