Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently experiencing a widespread outage that is impacting numerous cloud-hosted platforms across the internet. This disruption is affecting services that depend on AWS for hosting, data storage, and content delivery.
While this is a global event outside of Foley-Net’s direct control, we want to provide clarity on how it affects our operations and what you can expect in the hours ahead.
We are pleased to confirm that all core Foley-Net services remain fully operational:
Active Directory Services – Authentication, user management, and group policies are unaffected. All login and access functions are working as expected.
Locally Hosted Web Services – Applications and websites hosted on Foley-Net’s on-premise infrastructure are online and stable.
Internal Applications – Departmental tools, intranet resources, and locally managed systems continue to function normally.
This resilience is the result of Foley-Net’s hybrid infrastructure design, which prioritizes redundancy, local hosting, and independence from single points of failure.
While Foley-Net’s internal and locally hosted systems are unaffected, some external dependencies are experiencing issues:
Cloudflare – Currently experiencing disruptions. This may cause intermittent DNS resolution problems or degraded performance for websites and services that rely on Cloudflare’s proxy and security layers.
Other Cloud-Hosted Web Software – Applications hosted entirely on AWS or dependent on AWS-based APIs may be unavailable or unstable. This includes certain third-party productivity, collaboration, and media platforms.
Connectivity Providers – Charter Communications (Spectrum) and Verizon both rely on AWS for portions of their service delivery. As a result, onsite and offsite connections may be unreliable until AWS restores full functionality. Users may notice intermittent connectivity issues even when Foley-Net’s own infrastructure is stable.
Monitoring Continuously – Our operations team is actively tracking AWS, Cloudflare, Spectrum, and Verizon status updates, as well as monitoring our own systems for any indirect impact.
Ensuring Continuity – All critical Foley-Net services are designed with local redundancy and failover protections. This ensures that authentication, internal communications, and hosted applications remain available.
Communicating Transparently – We will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves, ensuring that all stakeholders remain informed.
Customers & Users: You may notice disruptions when accessing certain external websites, cloud-hosted applications, or when using Spectrum/Verizon connections. Foley-Net-hosted services remain unaffected.
Departments: Continue normal operations. If you rely on third-party cloud applications or external ISPs, be prepared for temporary downtime until AWS restores services.
Administrators: No action is required at this time. Please continue to report any anomalies to the Operations Team so we can track and document them.
Foley-Net’s infrastructure was built with resilience in mind, and today’s AWS outage highlights the importance of that strategy. While many organizations are experiencing widespread downtime, Foley-Net’s Active Directory, locally hosted web services, and internal applications remain fully available.
We will issue further updates as AWS, Cloudflare, Spectrum, and Verizon restore their services. In the meantime, thank you for your patience, professionalism, and trust in Foley-Net.

Resilient by design. Transparent by principle. Committed to you.
Dear Customers, Users, Departments, and Administrators of Foley-Net,
At Foley-Net, we are embarking on a comprehensive restructuring and reorganization process aimed at strengthening our foundations and positioning the company for sustained growth and excellence. These changes will empower us to deliver even higher standards of quality and service.
We recognize that periods of change can create uncertainty, and we are fully committed to maintaining transparent communication with all our partners, clients, and team members throughout this journey. Your trust and support have been instrumental in Foley-Net's success, and we are dedicated to ensuring that this restructuring reinforces the values and principles that define our organization.
This is an exciting and pivotal moment in Foley-Net’s journey, and we are confident that the steps we are taking today will lay the groundwork for a stronger, more innovative, and more client-focused future. We thank you for your continued understanding and patience as we navigate this process, and we look forward to sharing the positive outcomes of these efforts in the near future.
Dear Customers, Users, Departments, and Administrators of Foley-Net,
As part of our continuous efforts to improve operational efficiency, communication, and digital accessibility within our organization, Foley-Net is proud to announce the strategic migration of most internal materials and services from our public-facing website (www.foley-net.com) to our dedicated intranet portal (intranet.foley-net.com).
This transition marks a significant advancement in how we centralize and interact with core business tools, documentation, and team resources. Going forward, the intranet site will become the primary location for accessing internal documents, support systems, company announcements, and collaborative tools that drive our day-to-day productivity.
Notably, we will be rolling out an integrated ticketing system within the intranet environment. This system will streamline how team members submit support requests, track issue resolutions, and collaborate across departments. By keeping this functionality within a secured and personalized space, we are ensuring more responsive service, better tracking, and clearer communication around all internal needs.
In addition to the ticketing system, other key areas undergoing migration include:
Internal documentation and knowledge bases
Employee guidelines and onboarding resources
Cross-team collaboration tools
Event calendars and announcements
Department-specific dashboards and applications
This phased migration will ensure a seamless transition, with minimal disruption to existing workflows. During this process, users may temporarily see certain resources available on both the public website and the intranet. However, as we finalize each phase, all internally focused tools and content will be removed from the public domain to maintain clarity and security.
We strongly encourage all Foley-Net team members to begin using the intranet platform regularly, as it will be the central source of truth for nearly all company-related operations moving forward. Please update bookmarks, shortcuts, and internal process documentation accordingly.
If you have any questions, experience any issues, or would like assistance exploring the features of intranet.foley-net.com, our IT and Communications teams are here to support you every step of the way.
Foley‑Net Technology Department has detected an increase in fraudulent phone calls targeting individuals by referencing their Social Security Number (SSN). These calls are designed to pressure you into confirming or repeating sensitive information.
If you receive a call that includes your SSN:
Do NOT confirm or repeat your SSN under any circumstances.
Ask who is calling, their organization, and the reason for the call.
If the caller doesn't identify themselves or pressures you, please hang up immediately.
Why this matters: Your SSN is a key to your identity. Criminals can use it to open credit accounts, take out loans, file fraudulent tax returns, or commit other forms of identity theft. Once stolen, this information can circulate indefinitely on the dark web, making recovery extremely difficult.
Remember:
Never share personal or sensitive information (SSNs, bank details, passwords) over the phone or via text message.
Caller ID can be spoofed to look like a trusted number.
Phone calls and text messages are not secure and can be intercepted.
Legitimate organizations will not demand sensitive information in this way.
If you suspect a scam attempt:
Hang up immediately.
Report the incident to the Foley‑Net Technology Department at techdepartment@foley-net.com.
Monitor your accounts for unusual activity and consider placing a fraud alert with the credit bureaus.
Stay alert. Stay secure. Read the full advisory here: SSN Phone Leak

In June of 2023, there was a need for a new computer management infrastructure and internet infrastructure onsite. Foley-Net was established in September of 2023. The mission we have been trying to achieve for the past year has been successful. We are trying to streamline resident & guest access to onsite computers, internet, printers, and storage. Here are some of the goals established in June of 2023.
Make computers and computerized systems easy to use.
The ability to pick up a computer you may never have touched and being able to quickly log in with all your data right there, ready for you to use it.
The ability for guest who is staying at the Foley House can log in to the network system, have all their permissions and restrictions loaded, and to be able to use the computer systems, printing systems, storage systems, and internet systems without having to go through tedious steps to get access to these things.
Some of the more recent goals have been to have cutting-edge computer security and encryption.
At Foley-Net, we continuously strive to innovate and ensure that our services are not just the best, but also the most secure, reliable, and efficient.
We are thrilled to announce the rapid expansion of our network, extending our reach and bringing cutting-edge connectivity to new horizons. Foley-Net is proud to announce that we have rolled out our first Windows 11 device on August 23, 2024. We will be upgrading all devices so be patient when waiting for your computer to be upgraded.
If your computer has Windows 11 Professional and you experience problems with it, please inform our IT Department as soon as possible. This is a new operating system, and we do not know all the bugs that exist in it. The sooner you report a bug the faster it gets resolved.
After many months of consideration, we have chosen a theme for what our new inventory system will look like (which can be seen in the image on the right). We have selected this theme because of its ease of use for our users. At Foley-Net we strive for ease of use for our users. So, we have specially designed our new inventory system for our users. Our system may look older, but this is because the architecture is specialized to run on older systems as efficiently as possible. We are still working on this inventory system, and we plan to release it in January 2025.
Foley-Net is proud to say that we have partnered with LF Enterprises Gaming to host LF Enterprises Gaming Servers. In the coming months, we will start to transition from ScalaCube which LF Enterprises Gaming Servers were fully hosted on, to our new server. We will run things like their Minecraft Servers (Ex: Logan SMP, The Server, and more). We will also run things like a Steam Cache Server and any other games that LF Enterprises Gaming would like to run. This server is supposed to be somewhat usable by the 2024 holiday season and will be fully usable by February 2025. If there are any questions about this server email administrator@foley-net.com.
